Hands On Training
The combination between textbook learning and hands on experience is what separates the Professional Dog Trainers from the ones that just think they are.
You will be learning the most current information provided to us by Scientist & Researchers during our classroom time as well as being able to apply this knowledge by actually working with dogs through out this course.
In addition to our classroom time, we will be utilizing the opportunity to visit some of Long Islands local shelters and rescue organizations. It is here that you will be able to apply your skills where they can make so much of a difference. Imagine yourself being the one to train a shelter/rescue dog and making it possible for that dog to find a wonderful forever home!
We also provide our students the opportunity to partake in real live training sessions with clients who have requested training for their family dog. You will learn the importance of interacting with dog parents and how to teach them to follow the dog training program.
